A. A. Parr is a Canadian writer, artist and entrepreneur with a Spec. Honours BFA from York University in Theatre (Ensemble Collective Creation; Playwriting) with a double minor in Psychology and Cultural Studies. Her poetry series written for and about strangers, “I Wrote You This Poem”, is published weekly on, and she is the author of the poetry chapbook, “What Lasts Beyond the Burning”, forthcoming in December 2020 from Nightingale & Sparrow Press.  Her creative works have been seen on stages, in galleries, and in print throughout North America over the past two decades. In her work, she seeks to explore difficult themes in an attempt to shine a necessary light into our darkest crevices.



Carolyn McBride is an author of varied genres, most recently mysteries set here in Northern Ontario. She is a mother, a wife and Mama to a furry son who shows himself to the world as a German Shepherd. She can be opinionated, laid back and intense. Though not all at the same time. Her vices include gummy bears, good chocolate and strong coffee. Definitely not all at the same time. You can find her at

Laura McConnell was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and is passionate about reading and writing. She graduated with an Honours BA from the University of Toronto in 2012 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2016. She presently works in the non-profit sector. In her spare time, Laura enjoys doing crossword puzzles and reading Canadian fiction.
